Well, that's a first and hopefully a last too.
For the first time in my over 2 year history on DeviantArt, I present you actual art!
Yes, usually I don't draw much, maybe sketch from time to time and now you know why. This is a recreation/reimagining of a conceptual sketch of mine, obviously based upon Cyan Coast Zone from the (too) long in development. It's a calm scene, mostly showing off the backgrounds (this not being a particular one, just a mix and match from all of them).
It's been drawn with coloured pencils on common white copy paper (I happened to have in the office), the base sketch was just done with a HB pencil. It was scanned with a scanner (whopee doo, Sherlock) and then edited by me to be more colour intense and livelike. It has the right resolution to be used as the largest common (sub-4k) wallpaper, that being 1920*1200 in 8:5 aspect ratio, if anyone is so inclined.
That is about it from me, I should be back with actual art I usually do soon, I hope.
